THE FRANTIC STUDIO BRAND IS
SLEEK • CONTEMPORARY • MODERN • GRAPHIC
PRIMARY & SECONDARY MARKS
The circular mark that is featured in all aspects of Frantic's branding was designed to reflect the frenetic formation that is behind the creative process. Creativity can be a messy process and Frantic Studio's is able reign that process in and always develops a polished product.
When the mark stands alone it functions as the secondary mark. With the addition of the logotype the mark transforms into the primary mark.
The color palette for Frantic Studio's brand is clean and modern. The palette captures the contemporary feel of the brand through the use of the two primary colors gun metal and stone with the pop of blazing red.
The next element of Frantic Studio's new brand were their business cards. We decided to go with a option that featured a different back for each of the co-founders of Frantic Studio. One option is a clean white card with red and grey type and the second a dark grey with white type. For printing we went with MOO's Luxe line.
The primary functionality of the site was to show Frantic's extensive portfolio of motion work. We decided on the Marquee template from Squarespace because of its narrative structure. Once we decided on the template we decided in order to keep the organization consistent across all of their mediums used a grid structure to feature both their motion and still work. The secondary mark was a perfect fit for Frantic's new favicon.
A vital element to any photographers brand is their marketing materials. One of the most important is the emailer, which is a super easy way to keep old and new clients updated on new work. Due to the fact that the majority of Frantic Studio's work was motion an email promotion their emailer featured an animated GIF of a arc welder.
