BRAND ELEMENTS

Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Marks

The mark that is used through out the Meaux's branding is modeled off of the graphic outline that sky scrappers create against the sky. This representation reflects the architectural quality that is inherent through out their body of work.

When alone this mark functions as the tertiary mark. The secondary mark builds on the mark with the addition of type on either side. This set up fulfills the role of a secondary mark. When the mark is featured with the entire logotype it acts as the primary mark.

Color Palette

The color palette for David Meaux's brand is clean and classic. The black and white palette with a pop of gold will easily stand the test of time.

TESTIMONIAL

"We wanted to create a unique logo that not only captured an architectural concept but also had style and a little bit of a splash of color. We wanted our logo to be a representation of our photographic style, which is minimalistic, centered on geometry, color, light and texture.  Samantha was wonderful to work with. She was able to take our ideas and put them into several design concepts. We loved being able to talk over the phone about each of these concepts, which helped us focus our vision. Once we picked a concept that we really liked, we worked with her in coming up with a brand color palette. We love our new logo, it not only represents what we do but also has both style and simplicity."

BRAND ELEMENTS

Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Marks

Thomas's new brand features a mix of hand lettered elements along with set typography. The mix of these two elements speaks to Thomas's approachable yet professional manner.

Thomas's own handwriting inspired the hand lettered TW that when alone acts as the tertiary mark. The secondary mark builds onto the tertiary mark with the addition of type on either side of the mark. Rounding out this identity system is the primary mark which uses the tertiary mark as a background and overlays the entire logotype system on top.

Color Palette

The color palette for Thomas Winter's new brand along with his new system of marks speaks to his approachability and professional manner with the use of two shades of grey, a granite and silver. Rounding out the palette is a cooper to add some spirit and light to the brand.

TESTIMONIAL

“It had been about 3 years since my last logo tweak, and I wanted a fresh look. Samantha took it totally out of the box, and came up with a design inspired by how I initial everything. She totally embraced it, and I love the design. You can’t skimp on certain things, and brand/logo design is one of them."
