Fleur de Vie Soaps

The objective for this project was to create packaging for a line of French soaps that entitled Fleur de Vie. I chose to capture the beauty and iconography from Parisian bakeries and branded the soaps as a line of macaroon soaps which come in lemon, rose and lavender. As a expansion of the project I created a series of recipe cards and a set of stationery.

BRAND ELEMENTS

The primary mark consists of a logotype system along with woodcut illustration of a rolling pin. The stylization of the mark is based off of the intricate decoration of macaron boxes

The color palette was structured off of the three scents the soap were available in rose, lavender and lemon. Overall the color palette was kept in the range of pastels to reflect the style of the Parisian bakeries.

PACKAGING

The inspiration for the packing was inspired by the macaron boxes from Parisian bakeries and was meant to capture that unique visual identity. On the interior of the box there are three wells for the soaps to sit in.

The labels where created to be adhered to the back of the bottle so you could see the spring from which the water was sourced through the bottle. On the back of the label the exact GPS coordinates, location, flavor and a little bit more information on how the water was sourced.
